HODGSON’S “ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM” EXHIBIT EXTENDED

It’s been such a great summer for spending time outdoors, many people have missed Tom Hodgson’s extraordinary exhibit. Because of this, the Gallery on the Lake will be extending the exhibit until October 15th. This exhibit is a rare investment opportunity, as Hodgson’s work has not been featured in a major exhibit since 1995, and highlights his important role in abstract expressionism in Canada as a member of the Painters Eleven. We are pleased to be able to provide this opportunity to allow patrons to view and purchase these outstanding pieces.

ART CAMP

Last week thirteen young artists had a blast at our summer art camp with Beverly Sneath. The children, ages 6-13 made some amazing art work that has to be seen to be believed. They learned a variety of painting techniques, experimented using watercolours and acrylics, and practiced their cartooning and rendering skills. We’d like to thank all those who participated in the event, and can’t wait to see you again next year!

These pieces are great for those who have a love for abstract art, or those looking to make an investment. The exhibit continues to September 4th.
