Tom Hodgson, Michael Zarowky, Meet the Artists Weekend, Bergeron

TOM HODGSON EXHIBIT
Excitement continues to grow here at Gallery on the Lake for the upcoming Hodgson Exhibit. It opens Saturday August 1st with a reception from 1:00-4:00pm, where you will have the opportunity to meet his family and friends and hear their stories.  Small watercolours, large abstracts, and a portfolio of abstract nudes will all be featured in the exhibit, showcasing some of Canada’s premier abstract expressionist art. The stunning works have arrived at the gallery and are just waiting to be put on display. These pieces also provide a wonderful and rare investment opportunity, as Hodgson was a member of the famed painter’s eleven, and has not had a major show since the nineties. We hope you will join us in celebrating his work.

MICHAEL  ZAROWSKY + CAFE
We are currently displaying a mini-exhibit in the café, featuring the works of artist Michael Zarowsky. These expressive landscapes come in a variety of sizes, and depict winter and fall scenes in a painterly way. While you are there, stop and enjoy the view of Lake Buckhorn over a hot cup of coffee from our café, which is open 10-4 daily. We offer a variety of teas, sandwiches,  lemon meringue pie, muffins and more.
